A cozy, elegant stay
We had an awesome time soaking in the history and elegance. The deluxe queen room was super comfy and nicely decorated. The bar was a great spot to unwind after a busy day. Just a bummer that the outdoor patio has no shade now, felt kinda exposed while chilling there.

Oh, the cream cakes at The Terrace Restaurant—pure magic! We chowed down on eggs Benedict that could make angels sing. And don’t forget the delightful atmosphere. with fresh flowers and friendly staff, we truly felt pampered in this historical gem. Room service? Top-notch with options that made breakfast a treat. We'll be back for more indulgence next spring!
While the luxury was undeniable, I felt a tad out of place, worried if I dressed posh enough for the historic vibe. But honestly, it all sparkled despite the jitters—attention to detail, beautiful grounds, and a cozy ambiance made us feel right at home anyway.

The grounds were breathtaking, especially while enjoying a cocktail at sunset with the kids playing on the expansive lawn. The turndown service and daily bottled water replenishment made for a truly pampered experience. However, I found the dining options a bit limited after the changes, and the absence of certain amenities was noticeable compared to previous stays. Still, the luxurious atmosphere and exceptional service made it a memorable visit.
